Though rehearsals are currently suspended in line with the Government’s measures to deal with the spread of COVID-19, we thought you might like to know how our Come & Sing Verdi Requiem went.
Despite little support from tubes and trains (engineering works & cancellations) to get us all to The Great Hall at Barts for our instant concert on Sunday 23rd February, there was a full orchestra and choir for the Verdi Requiem from Scratch!
The orchestra, soloists and choir were all on top form and it was clear that everyone involved enjoyed a musical way of spending their Sunday afternoon!

For now, please keep safe and well. We plan to reschedule our Haydn’s The Seasons concert for later in the year, when it is safe to do so. Till we can meet, sing and rehearse with each other again…
